Day 1
Arrival to Kazan
Arrival to Kazan airport. Traditional 'Bread and Salt' welcoming and transfer to the centrally located hotel of your choice. Welcoming dinner in the traditional tatar cuisine restaraunt with folk dancing and singing.

Day 2
Panoramic city tour
The sightseeing tour will give you a chance to get acquainted with sights of this thousand-year old city, which united culture and traditions of West and East. You will visit the Old-Tatar settlement where Tatars lived after the gain of Kazan by Ivan the Terrible, the former industrial complex of the city based by Peter I, the Kazan Town hall, Opera and Ballet theater, Conservatory, the building of the Government and a city pearl—the Kazan Kremlin. On the territory of the Kremlin you will see one of the most astonishing mosques in Russia—Qolsharif, take the tour of 16th century Annunciation Cathedral and the falling tower of Syuyumbike, as well as the place of burial of the Kazan khans and residence of the president of Tatarstan republic. Afterwards you will participate in a cooking class and prepare and taste the Tatar national dishes.
Day 3
Ancient city of Bulgar
During this tour, you will have a remarkable chance to visit the Holy Land of once strong state Bulgaria. Here you will see monuments of architecture of the 10-11th century, constructed on a place, where associates of the Prophet Mohammed were based. You will see Complex of a white mosque of Bulgarians with the largest in the world printed Koran. After lunch you will take a private boat ride along the Volga river and enjoy breathtaking landscapes.
Day 4
Raifa Bogoroditsky Monastery & Sviyazhsk island
On this day you will go to Raifa Bogoroditsky Monastery and visit its main cathedrals—Holy Trinity Cathedral and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Georgian. You will continue your tour by going to Sviyazhsk island, built by Ivan the Terrible, to see ancient churches, cultural and historical sites, as well as the local complex of historical reconstruction and craft workshops.
Day 5
Departure from Kazan
Farewell lunch/dinner. Transfer to Kazan airport.
