Russian North & Aurora lights

Aurora or Northern lights attract travelers from all over the world, and there is a limited number of places where you can witness this natural phenomenon. And one of them is in the region of Murmansk. Murmansk is situated almost 2000 kilometers to the North from Moscow, on the coast of the Barents Sea.

Northern lights can be witnessed here from October to April. The climate of this region is tough, and it is the best place to experience the real Russian winter and see the stunning Arctic tundra landscapes.
